I’ve worked across a number of different environments over the course of my career. Wherever the setting changed, one thing never did: how people interpret the systems around them is what decides whether those systems actually work.
That’s what led me into cybersecurity — approaching it the same way. Start from a human-centred view, and the technology tends to fall into alignment on its own. The reverse is true too: technology built with people in mind makes secure behaviour easier to sustain.
Founding Shannon Digital Trust came from wanting to bring that same shift into technical environments more broadly — helping organisations reach the same goals for their defences, their integrations, and everything else that depends on people and technology working together.
