Technology can make us safer. But it’s the people using it, and the choices we make around it, that turn security into something that works.
I don’t believe people are the weakest link. Most work within environments they didn’t design — under pressure, juggling priorities, trying to get things done. When security is hard to follow or disconnected from everyday work, even well-intentioned people struggle. That’s not a weak link. It’s a reason to look beyond the individual, at the systems and choices around them.
